Patna, (Bihar Times): The state government on Sunday promoted three 1980 batch IPS officers from the rank of the IG to ADG. Those who have been promoted are Rajvardhan Sharma, Pramod Kumar Thakur and Sunit Kumar. The Tirhut range DIG, Arvind Pandey, has been transferred to the post of DIG (Railways). Rajvinder Singh Bhatti, waiting for posting after his return from the central deputation, will now be the new DIG (Tirhut Range).
While Sharma, who was the IG (Headquarters) is now ADG (CID) Sunit Kumar, till now IG (BMP) is now the ADG (State Crime Record Bureau). However Thakur, IG (Special Branch) will now be ADG (Special Branch). IG (CID) Rajesh Ranjan will now be the IG (Headquarters).
