Patna, (Bihar Times): Ten people were reportedly killed in a gang war between two gangs of riverain criminals in Naughchia sub-division in Bhagalpur district on Monday.
According to police a war of supremacy is going on between Bhajo Mandal and Kongresi Mandal. The incident took place at Binoba Phulakia diara under the Ismailpur police station of Naugachai police district.
Those killed are Hari Mandal, Lakhan Mandal, Bhajo Mandal, Kailash Mandal, Kalsha Mandal, Putki Mandal, Raj Kumar Mandal, Chako Mandal, Baidyanath Mandal and Dukhwa Mandal. They all belonged to Bhajo gang and were called by the rival gang for a truce. However, they were shot in the cold blood and bodies thrown into river Ganga.
