New Delhi, Feb 21 :Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Saturday described the Left as a “permanent friend” and that his Rashtraiya Janata Dal (RJD) may contest elections in alliance with the communists.
“They (Left) are our permanent friends and they will remain our friends. We may even contest together,” Lalu Prasad said at the Institutional Asset Management Award (IAMA) award function.
“They (Left) had different opinions on the nuclear deal but they are our natural allies,” he said.
Lalu Prasad said that talks were on with Ram Vilas Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) on sharing of seats in Bihar for the Lok Sabha elections.
