Patna, (Bihar Times): The chief minister, Nitish Kumar, on Monday questioned the wisdom of the Centre in not giving him the permission to visit Kusaha in Nepal, where river Kosi breached on August 18 last causing devastating flood in half a dozen districts of the state.
“Work is on to plug the breach in Kusaha in Nepal. The central government has adopted dilly-dallying approach and not allowing the mukhiya (chief) of the state, which is busy in the construction work in the neighbouring country,” he told newsmen.
Though a normal citizen can go to Nepal without any visa and passport yet a visit by any minister or chief minister requires permission as it becomes a state visit.
Nitish bid Sayonara (goodbye) to the railway minister, Lalu Yadav, who flew to Japan on Sunday and reminded him of the film Love In Tokyo.
