05/08/2010 Lallan Kumar elected new Bihar Youth Congress president
Patna,(BiharTimes): Lallan Kumar was on Tuesday elected as new president of Bihar Youth Congress Committee. Out of the 2,826 eligible voters, 2,650 took part in the election. It was described as historic election for the state Youth Congress Committee as it followed directive of AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi. Lallan Kumar secured maximum number of 748 votes. Kumar Ashish, with 343 votes was declared elected as the Vice President. Seven general secretaries were also elected. They include Dr Rashid Fakri, Airek Kumar, Dr Shashi Shankar Singh Mohammad Naushad and three others.
