08/08/2010 New VCs, pro-VCs for Bihar varsities
Patna,(BiharTimes): New vice chancellors were appointed for Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University (TMBU) and Lalit Narain Mithila University(LNMU), Darbhanga, on Saturday. Pro-vice chancellors of three universities were also appointed. The Governor-rum-Chancellor Devanand Kunwar, appointed K N Dubey, former head of Geology Department, Ranchi University, and Dhruv Kumar, Principal, A N S College, Barh, as the vice chancellor and pro-vice chancellor respectively of TMBU. Former Principal, Bhagalpur Medical College, S N Singh, has got the post of VC, LNMU. Since the retirement of former VC Misri Lal Thakur, pro-VC Padmasha Jha had been the acting VC of the University. Dinesh Prasad Sinha, Principal, Ram Lakhan Singh Yadav College, Aurangabad, has been made pro-VC of JP University, Chapra. Retired professor-in-charge of MM College, Bikram and former liaison officer of Magadh University, Arun Kumar Sinha, has been made pro-VC of BN Mandal University, Madhepura.
