Rahul to start party campaign in Bihar on Sept 4
Patna,(BiharTimes): The Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi will start his party’s election campaign in Bihar from Saharsa, the home district of the Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee chief, Chaudhary Mahboob Ali Kaiser.
After landing in Saharsa on September 4 he would proceed for Samastipur, where too he would address a public meeting.
This information was given to the media by Kaiser at a Press Conference on Monday. He said Rahul would address a meeting at Patel ground in Saharsa and another at College ground in Samastipur.
He said he would request the Congress General Secretary to visit 20 other places in the state in course of election campaign to boost the poll prospects of the party.
The state unit of the party had already prepared its election manifesto and had sent it to the AICC for approval.
Janata Dal (United) leader Faiyazul Azam and several Bahujan Samaj Party activists also joined the Congress at the Press Conference.
