Patna,(BiharTimes): An innovative entrepreneur from Bihar, Irfan Alam of SammaaN Foundation, was one of them who got an opportunity to meet President Barack Hussein Obama at Trident Hotel in Mumbai on Saturday.
Obama, who is in India with a high-powered delegation of 250 American business leaders met about a dozen Indian entrepreneurs, working on issues like health care and solar energy.

In his 45-minute meeting with Indian entrepreneurs he learnt something more about smart cycle-rickshaw revolution in Bihar. Irfan had already met Obama when the latter invited 250 Muslim entrepreneurs from 60 countries last April.
”Obama was very curious when I told him that I head an organization of half a million unskilled, illiterate entrepreneurs, and they are all cycle-rickshaw operators,” Irfan, 29, told BiharTimes on his return to Patna on Sunday.
Irfan’s redesigned cycle-rickshaw has brought about a social revolution not only in Bihar but other states too.
Irfan said that he handed Obama a report and left a miniature cycle-rickshaw for him.
He was among a select list of enterpreneurs who were invited to attend the young enterpreneurs' summit at the White House earlier this year.
