Patna: ‘Chhath Puja’ would be observed today. On the auspicious occasion of ‘Chhath’ Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and opposition RJD supremo Lalu Prasad today greeted the people of Bihar.
The Chief Minister said that “Let us all pray for development of our state, social amity and well being of all our citizens.”
Kumar said it was a coincidence that the assembly polls were taking place in the state at the time of Chhath festival.
The Bihar Chief Minister appealed to the electorate to exercise their franchise without fear and said they need not worry about Naxal-led boycotts of polls at a few places.
