Patna, (BiharTimes): The Janata Dal (United) on Monday expelled Ram Avadh Patel from the primary membership of the party. Patel is contesting election as Independent candidate from Nokha assembly constituency under Rohtas district.

According to state party president, Vijay Chaudhary, action would be taken against all those who have worked against the party’s official candidates.
Close relatives of several party MPs contested on tickets of opposition parties. They are Mahabali Singh, Purnamasi Ram, Captain Jai Narayan Nishad Monazir Hasan etc. Newly inducted Rajya Sabha MP Upendra Kushwaha and former state party chief Lallan Singh have openly been campaigning against the official NDA candidates.
