Patna,(BiharTimes): Less than 24 hours before the closure of the campaign for the first phase of election for 47 Assembly constituencies in Bihar the ruling Janata Dal (United) released a manifesto at the party office on Monday evening.
The main opposition the RJD-LJP alliance has released its manifesto several days back while the two other main parties are yet to come out with their own.

Addressing newsmen on the occasion chief minister Nitish Kumar chose to attack Congress president Sonia Gandhi, who earlier in the day targeted his government both in Kishanganj and Motihari.
He denied that funds issued by the Centre to provide relief to victims of the Kosi flood had not been utilised properly by his government and added that this is a wild and baseless allegation.
The chief minister once again said that Congress and RJD-LJP alliance are hand-in-glove with each other. They were trying to fool the people of the state by fighting the elections separately.
He charged Sonia with politicizing the issue of the off-campus branch of the Aligarh Muslim University in Kishanganj.
Speaking on the occasion party’s national president, Sharad Yadav said giving power to the people of the state was the most challenging work for the government.
The party national spokesman, Shivanand Tiwary, was also present on the occasion.
The party’s manifesto promises a commission for the economically weak among the upper castes. It also promised to improve the quota for Scheduled Castes and Tribes in all government institutions.
