Patna,(BiharTimes): Two days after proclaiming that Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi should be thrown into Ganga the Janata Dal (United) national president Sharad Yadav’s verbal arrow hit none else but the chief minister, Nitish Kumar, whom he dubbed as a faltu(useless) person.

Unbelievable, say some top party leaders, while others attribute it to as a stab––rather say arrow––in the back, that is a great betrayal.
Addressing an election rally at Garua Vishnupur High School ground under Marhaura assembly constituency of Saran district he said Yeh dono Lalu aur Nitish vikas ki baten karte hain. Lalu, Nitish faltu hain. (Both Lalu and Nitish talk about development. They both are useless persons). Hum theek hain (I am ok).
Incidentally Saran goes to poll on Thursday and this was the last of the speech by any prominent Janata Dal (United) leader in Marhaura.
However, media reports late on Tuesday evening said that Sharad denied his remarks. Jo chunav lad rahe hain, ye Nitish, Lalu, Aaalu sab faltu hain, was a slip of the tongue. He couldn’t have meant Nitish as “he is the CM and top JD(U) leader,” was how clarified.
While the Janata Dal (United) and the BJP strongly defended his remarks against Rahul Gandhi the party’s national spokesman, Shivanand Tiwari ducked the question by simply saying that he is yet to confirm his remarks. “I still can’t believe he used such language against his own CM,” he said.
Sharad’s remarks came hours after BJP MP and cine-star, Shatrughan Sinha, said that “Lalu Yadav is a good friend of mine.” Incidentally nowhere in his election campaign he is, by name, giving credit to the chief minister Nitish Kumar and deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi for what the NDA claims the development of Bihar.
