01/09/2010 Bihar CPI-M leader expelled for trying to 'patch up' with JD-U
New Delhi, Sep 1 (IANS) Subodh Roy, the Bihar leader from the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M), was expelled from the party Wednesday after he tried to "patch up" with Janata Dal-United (JD-U) leader and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Roy, a party central committee member and a former Lok Sabha MP from Bhagalpur, has been "expelled from the primary membership of the party for grave anti-party activities", the CPI-M politburo said in a statement here.
