Congress refutes Nitish’s charge of alliance with RJD
Patna,(BiharTimes): The Congress on Wednesday refuted the chief minister Nitish Kumar’s statement that there is a tacit understanding between the Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal.
In a statement the chief spokesman of the Bihar Congress Prem Chandra Mishra said the party had already shut the doors for alliance with the RJD.
He alleged that Nitish was in the habit of making false statements against Congress. Instead the chief minister had continuously maintained tacit understanding with Lalu Prasad.
He said Lalu and Nitish are the two sides of the same coin and charged that both the leaders had fooled people of the state during the past 20 years.
It is a total political dishonesty on the part of Nitish Kumar who continues to target the Centre for not providing required central assistance to Bihar.
Nitish is jealous and desperate after seeing the position which Congress has consolidated during all these years in Bihar, he added.
