11/09/2010 CPI (M) to contest 30 seats, says Karat
Patna,(BiharTimes): CPM will contest 30 out of 243 seats in alliance with the CPI and CPI (ML) in the coming Bihar assembly election. This was announced by the party general secretary Prakash Karat here on Thursday. The Left parties will collectively contest 200 seats. Karat said a decision in this regard was taken by the state committee of the party at a meeting here on Thursday. The details of the constituencies and candidates will be announced after consultations with other Left allies.
