Lalu Prasad launches son Tejaswi in politics

Patna, Sep 23 (IANS) Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad's cricketer son Tejaswi Yadav will campaign for the party during the Bihar assembly elections in October-November.

Lalu Prasad Thursday introduced his son Tejaswi at a press conference here and formalised his entry into politics by announcing that he would campaign for the RJD-Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) combine in the assembly polls.

"My son Tejaswi will campaign during the assembly polls," Lalu Prasad announced, with a big smile.

The RJD chief said his son was learning politics and will get more exposure and training during the assembly polls.

Tejaswi is pursuing a career in cricket and has secured a berth in the IPL team Delhi Daredevils.
