Patna,(BiharTimes): The Lok Janshakti Party, which lost some leaders recently, got a shot in arm when three sitting MLAs from different parties joined it on Friday.

The three, who jumped on the LJP bandwagon are Independent MLA, Vijendra Chaudary, S N Sau of the Bahujan Samaj Party and Ram Vinod Paswan of the CPI.
Former BSP MLA, Mayanand Thakur and Khagaria district board chairperson, Sunila Devi, of Janata Dal (United) also joined the party.
Welcoming the sitting legislators the party leader Ram Vilas Paswan justified the selection of Pashupati Kumar Paras as the candidate for the post of deputy chief minister. He said Paras has been the MLA since 1977 and in that way he is much senior to many current leaders of different political parties. Nitish himself became the MLA for the first time in 1985.
Meanwhile, the LJP parliamentary board authorized party chief Ram Vilas to select candidates for the 75 seats on which it is contesting.
