Patna,(BiharTimes): RJD chief Lalu Prasad is of the view that the poetry war is a deliberate ploy by chief minister Nitish Kumar to distract the attention of the people of Bihar from the genuine issues and his utter failure in each and every field.
On Sunday he declared unilateral ‘ceasefire’ to if. It was Nitish, who first composed parody compelling Lalu to come out with his own.

Lalu said now there would be no poem recitation by any leader or worker from his party even if there is any provocation. If chief minister Nitish Kumar is so interested in poetry recitation, he could do so on the campus of the upcoming Nalanda International University. In fact he should become the head of its Poetry Department, he added. The Centre is building the Nalanda International University, a brainchild of the former President, A P J Abdul Kalam, in Nalanda, which is incidentally the home district of Nitish Kumar.
He asked party workers to move to the constituencies and work hard for the victory of the RJD-LJP combine in the coming state assembly polls.
He said that it was because of the total surrender by Nitish Kumar before the bureaucratic system that led to the poor law and order situation in the state, where women were stripped and paraded, Nats were lynched and a foreigner raped.
He held the Nitish government responsible for rampant corruption. Still, Nitish Kumar failed to wake up from his deep slumber.
Lalu teased the JD(U) and the BJP by saying that they are not releasing their respective lists as they consider the RJD-LJP combine as a great threat to their alliance. Though the nomination is starting from Monday, there is still confusion in the NDA camp over sharing seats.
He did not spare Congress and held it responsible for the crisis in Kashmir. Though he did not accompany the 39-member all party delegation to Jammu and Kashmir his friend LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan was one of its members.
