Patna,(BiharTimes): With the death of a Dalit woman in the firing allegedly by the henchmen of a builder, and that too in the presence of police, the situation all over Bailey Road has turned extremely tense.
Earlier in the day several people, including the builder, were injured in a clash between Dalits and his henchmen over a plot of land in Jagdeo Path. The Dalits claim that the land is their graveyard. Later a woman succumb to injuries.

The incident took place under the Airport Police Station. Three policemen, including the Station House Officer of this police station have been suspended.
The real estate boom in Patna and elsewhere in the state has triggered a number of incident of land disputes and land-grabbing. Though the authorities are probing the claim of both the builder and Dalits, according to the SSP, Alok Kumar, no one would be spared howsoever powerful he or she is.
