Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar-origin novelist Vikas Kumar Jha has been chosen for the 2011 International Indu Sharma Katha Samman, for his novel McCluskieganj.
According to an agency report from London The award will be presented to Jha at a function in the House of Commons here on June 27.
The International Indu Sharma Katha Samman was instituted in the memory of poetess and short story writer Indu Sharma who died of cancer in 1995.
McCluskieganj is a township in Jharkhand with a sizeable Anglo-Indian population.
