Patna, April 18 (IANS) A strong dust storm followed by rains hit the Bihar capital Monday evening, giving relief from the scorching heat to the city residents.

The sudden downpour caused a fall in temperature, said local met officials.

The storm also caused some damage, felling trees and electric poles in several areas, and leading to power outage in a major part of the city, officials said. No casualties were however reported.
