Last Wednesday Bachchan was in Patna to promote his upcoming movie, Aarakshan. During his maiden visit to Patna he called on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar whom he appreciated for good work in the state. He even said that he liked Patna more than any metro.
When newsmen on Saturday asked Lalu if he is also among those who are opposing Aarakshan, which deals with the issue of reservation, he said everyone has the right to watch a movie of his or her choice.
However, he said if it depicts anything against the interests of the poor and downtrodden, he would certainly oppose it. On the other hand Amitabh, while talking to StarNews, said that he respect Lalu’s sentiment. “I never said anything against him,” he said.
