.Patna,(BiharTimes): The Bihar government will appoint 34,507 nurses, who will be posted in the district and block hospitals.
The decision in this regard has been taken by the state cabinet on Tuesday.

The cabinet also gave a nod to a proposal to set up two new polytechnics, one at Jamui and the other at Raghopur in Supaul district.
The cabinet also gave a green signal to the setting up of a central registration unit for commercial tax purposes at Patna. With this, traders residing in any part of the state would get firms registered at Patna.
The cabinet sanctioned Rs 62.69 crore for Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour and Rs 63.95 crore for Rajendra Agricultural University, Pusa towards payment of salary to the teaching and non-teaching employees of these universities.
Besides, it It sanctioned Rs 80 crore for payment of salary and allowances to the teaching and non-teaching employees of 1,119 madrassas and nine girls’ madrassas.
