.Patna,(BiharTimes): After RJD it is for the BJP and Janata Dal (United) MPs to face the music. Activists of India Against Corruption (IAC) gheroed the house of BJP Lok Sabha MP Shatrughan Sinha and Janata Dal (United) MP, Ranjan Yadav, in Patna on Tuesday. They also laid siege outside the house of the state BJP president, Dr C P Thakur, who is also the Rajya Sabha MP.

Similarly, in Madhepura they protested before the house of Janata Dal (United) president and NDA convenor, Sharad Yadav. However, the MPs were not present at their respective houses as Parliament session is going on.
Incidentally, the call to gherao the MPs was given when all the MPs are in Delhi and not at their respective constituencies. The IAC activists also rasied slogans against the MPs and urged them to support Jan Lokpal in Parliament.
Only on Monday the IAC activists stage a brief protest demonstration outside the office of RJD in Patna.
Ironically, the gherao came against the house of the MPs of the party which are backing Anna Hazare’s movement. As the IAC activists were protesting against the MPs, the Janata Dal (United) activists took to streets in Patna to lend support to Anna’s campaign for Jan Lokpal.
On the other hand, hundreds of activists of All India Pasmanda Muslim Mahaz burned an effigy of Syed Ahmed Bukhari, the Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid, Delhi, who had opposed the Anna’s campaign.
The Mahaz activists assembled at the Kargil Chowk near the Gandhi Maidan and also raised slogans, seeking support for the agitation. Incidentally, they took to streets only hours after Kiran Bedi met Bukhari in Delhi.
