Employees to get commuted leave to look after parents, in-laws

Patna,(BiharTimes): The Nitish cabinet on Thursday decided that the state government employees would now get commuted leave to look after their ailing parents and in-laws.

 



The cabinet also gave its approval for the constitution of a body headed by the chief secretary to utilize the money made available to it by the government as compensation to be spent on afforestation, conservation of forests and protection of wildlife in the areas around Durgavati reservoir project in Kaimur and Rohtas district. The government decided to constitute the body in pursuance of a Supreme Court order.

The cabinet also gave its green signal to the promotion of IGIMS deputy directors Dr Anirudh Singh and Dilip Kumar Singh to the rank of joint director and that of associate professors Dr Bireshwar Prasad, Dr Prem Shankar Singh, Dr Ranjana and Dr T V B Singh to the rank of professor.
