Patna,(BiharTimes): Opposition MLAs and MLCs of Bihar on Monday raised the issue of complete absence of Paddy Procurement Centre in the state.
The Rastriya Janata Dal MLA, Bhai Dinesh, reached the Assembly on a cart loaded with sacks of paddy as he said that no Centre has been opened by the state government forcing farmers to do distress selling.
However, the Cooperative Minister Ramadhar Singh, denied the opposition allegation and accused it of creating drama to distract the attention from the defeat suffered in the recently held by-election for Laukaha.
