Patna,(BiharTimes): An FIR was lodged on Friday against Janata Dal (United) leader of Sitamarhi, Kiran Gupta and her husband, Surajbhan Gupta, in alleged rape case five days after a woman filed a written complaint against them.

As reported earlier the victim, a 20-year old woman of Sitamarhi district, accused Surajbhan of raping her when she approached the couple to settle dispute with her husband. Instead of solving the problem she was taken to a room and sexually assaulted. The victim held Kiran Gupta, the Woman Cell district president of Janata Dal (United) equally responsible for the crime.
