Patna,(BiharTimes): With the minimum temperature of 4.4 degree Celsuis Gaya on Thursday (December 22) witnessed the coldest day in this winter. Chapra with 5.3 degree and Patna with 6.5 followed it. That way the state experienced the coldest day of this winter on Thursday. |
Though the sun made a brief appearance in Patna yet the chilly wind made the life of the people, especially the poor very difficult. Needless to say the government’s response was hardly visible for them.
On Wednesday Patna had the temperature of 7.9 Celsius while Gaya 7.4. On the other hand minimum temperature in Purnia remained 9
degree Celsius both on Wednesday and Thursday.
In Bhagalpur and Muzaffarpur the temperature was 10.6 Celsuis.
Rail, road and air services have been badly affected by fog. A number of trains are running behind schedule by several hours forcing the railway to re-schedule the time-table. Similar is the condition with flights.
