Patna,(BiharTimes): Though the junior doctors all over the state went on wild cat strike in protest against what they alleged firing on them by the security guards of the RJD MLA, Surendra Prasad Yadav, the Gaya unit of the Bihar Policemen’s Association threatened that they would cease work and launch a stir if action against the two police guards is not withdrawn. |
The president of Gaya unit of the Association, S K Ojha, charged that the two policemen, Abhinandan Yadav and Ashok Yadav, were suspended and arrested on the pressure of the doctors.
Apart from registrating case against the MLA and his bodyguards, the police have registered three cases against doctors for causing head injury to the bodyguard of Gaya Sadar SDO Paritosh Kumar, for torching a police jeep and on the basis of complaint made by the attendants of Meena Devi, whose alleged negligence led to violence on the hospital premises.
Meanwhile, the RJD MLA, who is absconding, has demanded action against the ANMMCH medicos and police raids in the medical college hostel to unearth illegal weapons and bombs kept there.
He alleged that the ANMMCH medicos on Sunday evening assaulted a Mahadalit patient during treatment and also made a murderous attack on him with pistols, rods, hockey sticks etc.
