Patna,(BiharTimes): Former minister Shiv Shankar Yadav died at a private hospital here after prolonged illness. He was 78.
He breathed his last at Ruban Hospital in Patna late on Monday night. Shiv Shankar was minister in the RJD government.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar condoled his death and announced that the deceased leader would be cremated with full state honour. Nitish said that Shiv Shankar was an able and popular social worker.
Shiv Shankar Yadav lost to Parween Amanullah in the last Assembly election from Sahebpur Kamal.
