Patna,(BiharTimes): The Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly has demanded a constitution of a committee of the members of both the Houses of Assembly on the pattern of the Joint Parliamentary Committee, to probe the AC, DC scam in Bihar. |
Delivering his maiden speech in the Bihar Assembly on Governor’s address on Wednesday he said that “all of us supported a JPC on the 2G Spectrum Scam” so what is wrong if a House Committee probe the AC, DC scam. He said that many of the sitting MLAs donot know anything about the AC, DC Bills yet they would yell and disturb the proceeding of the House. If the government does not want the CBI probe why not the House Committee investigate the matter? After all the ruling combination has such a big majority and the Committee would be filled with its members. The government should not be afraid of any such Committee as it involves thousands of crores, he added.
He said many of the Bills hurriedly submitted by the state government has been rejected by the CAG as they are either photostat copies or do not have any counter-sign.
