Patna,(BiharTimes): All the major opposition parties have demanded thorough probe into the murder of the sitting BJP MLA from Purnea, Raj Kishore Kesri, on Tuesday morning. The Congress has demanded a judicial inquiry by a sitting or retired Patna high court judge. |
Condoling the death RJD and LJP leaders Lalu Yadav and Ram Vilas Paswans respectively sought thorough investigation to know the circumstances which led to the killing. RJD spokesman, Shakeel Ahmed Khan and party MP, Ram Kripal Yadav, though condoling the killing said that the incident reflects how safe is the common men and women are in Bihar.
The parties also questioned as to how Rupan was snatched from the custody of police and almost lynched by the enraged supporters of the MLA.
Congress chief spokesman Prem Chandra Mishra termed the killing as tragic and added that a judicial inquiry should be conducted into the incident.
He said that had police taken the alleged killer’s complaint of sexual harassment against the MLA seriously, the murder would have been averted.
He also criticized the statement of the deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi that the woman was trying to blackmail Kesri.
Mishra also added that an independent probe is also required to ascertain as to under what circumstances the woman was allowed to meet the MLA even after she lodged a complaint against him last year.
He said that the matter is not linked to law and order or security of legislators, but it is manifestation of anger of a woman who, as it seemed, was deprived of justice.

I have questions in his administrative abilities. What he did to investigate the case on administrative level which is dedicated under him as on today.
Need to see Black & White administrative reports. Need to publish them for evaluations. Need to put DM & SP from area on toe...........
