Patna,(BiharTimes): After knocking at the door of Patna High Court, National Human Rights Commission and National Commission For Women Kumod Mishra, the mother of Rupam Pathak, met her daughter for the first time in Purnea jail.
Later talking to newsmen she demanded better treatment for Rupam as she had badly been beaten by the supporters of the Bharatiya Janata Party after the MLA Raj Kishore Kesri was stabbed to death on January 4 morning.
She said that Rupam still has bruises all over the body and had received serious internal injuries. There are blood clottings at several places and she is in pain. She demanded that her daughter be sent to Patna or somewhere else for further treatment.
