Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday mourned the death of Latika Renu, the wife of famous Hindi writer Phanishwar Nath Renu. She died early on Thursday morning.
In his condolence message, the chief minister lauded a big role she played in her husband’s prominence in Hindi literature. |
Nitish recalled that when during his Vikas Yatra he visited Aurahi Hingna village in Araria district and spent some time with her and other family members she “lovingly served me `saag' and blessed me to serve the people of Bihar” and prayed that may her soul rest in peace and God give enough strength to the family members to bear this loss.
Latika was the mother of BJP MLA Padam Parag Rai Venu.
The chief minister had paid visit to the Patna Medical College and Hospital where she was undergoing treatment.
