Kiran Kumari on Tuesday filed a complaint in the court of the CJM Muzaffarpur charging the MLC with attempting to rape her.
Chief Judicial Magistrate Ramesh Chandra Malviya admitted the petition of Kiran Kumari and fixed the hearing for February 2.

She alleged that Bharti forcibly dragged her inside the Janata Dal (United) MLC'’s vehicle and tried to rape her on way to Akharaghat. She also named his associate Shabbir Ahmed alias Pappu who was present on the occasion.
Kiran said that when she strongly resisted, the two dumped her on the roadside before speeding away.
She also alleged that the Janata Dal (United) MLC had got her husband Roshan Kumar Jha implicated in a false case of extortion and got him arrested.
Meanwhile, the MLC rubbished the allegation and said that Roshan of Vaishali district tried to extort Rs five lakh from him.
Ever since the last Assembly election names of about half a dozen ruling party legislators have come up for all the wrong reasons. In fact the BJP MLA from Purnea, Raj Kishore Kesri, was stabbed to death by the alleged rape victim on January 4.
The Janata Dal (United) MLA Sunil Pandey and his MLC brother were last month accused of threatening a construction firm engaged in the state.
Another Janata Dal (United) MLA Bima Bharati lodged case against her own don husband for beating her blue and black.

It will not be justified to blame or question Nitish Ji at this point of time. There seems to be some political hindrance in this case, still you must be knowing that both the victims have been given good amount of protection and a CBI inquiry has been ordered into this. Nitish ji has been doing lot of other good things as well right now for Bihar. So, let us not blame him as of now. And wait for the ongoing prosecution.

Power corrupts people. This is coming true in case of Bihar. Attacks on women by people in power seems to be increasing every day in Bihar.

First it was Rupam and now Kiran Kumari and I am sure there may be more.

I remember the case last year when a Japanese tourist was raped in Gaya. Nitish kumar wrote in his blog that he didn't sleep all night and later the culprits were punished by the fast track court

This time the "aam janta" is watching the silent Nitish when men of the ruling party have turned into wolves.

Lets see what Nitish does in the case of Rupam and Kiran. So far most disappointing thing is that Nitish is silent. They have locked in the editor who broke the story of sexual exploitation, the co-accused is roaming freely and our dear Deputy CM Sushil Modi gave a clean chit to accused even before the trial.

Nitish do you really sleep peacefully these days or atleast you are little bit bothered.

Exactly the way, when UPA -2 came to the power in Center, all the scams and scandals of UPA -1 came to the light. Similar stuff is happening in Bihar as well. All the wrong doings of NDA’s MLAs and MLCs are coming into light now. But, at least one good sign is that the victims rose their voice and brought these offences into light. All these bastard MLAs, MLCs should be severely punished and put into jail for rest of their life.
I congratulate Kiran Kumari for coming into open and raising her voice. Let the truth prevail and justice to take place quickly.
