Patna,(BiharTimes): Nutan Paswan, an RJD member, was on Thursday elected unopposed as the new chairperson of the Patna District Board.
Incidentally, she is the sister of SSP Patna, Alok Kumar.
The election was held in the presence of the district magistrate, Sanjay Kumar Singh.
Her victory was facilitated by the withdrawal from contest by Pinky Devi of Janata Dal (United).
Meena Devi was elected as the Vice Chairperson.
