Patna,(BiharTimes): Good news for those students of Bihar, who have become the victim of CBSE’s poor evaluation of their Class-XII copies. |
In the latest move All India Council of Technical Education has decided to lower the marks criteria in Physics, Chemistry and Math for admission in engineering colleges from 50 per cent to 45 per cent in the Plus-II examination.
Many students of CBSE Patna Region, who have cracked various engineering examinations, have either failed in these subjects or have got less than 50 per cent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Math are now eligible for admission in engineering and pharmacy courses.
Private colleges can also take admission on 45 per cent criteria.
Though many experts are critical of this decision arguing that it would produce inferior quality of engineers the AICTE has taken this decision because a large number of seats had remained vacant last year.
