Patna,(BiharTimes): The state government is contemplating action against the firm engaged in the construction of Rs 134-crore-Buddha Smriti Park because water started leaking at a number of places after recent rain.

The Principal Secretary, Urban Development Department, Shashi Shekhar Sharma, has recommended termination of the contract of Parshwanth Developers Limited, the firm assigned the task of constructing it.
In a meeting convened on July 25 to assess the condition of the Park the Secretary also suggested confiscation of the deposit money of the firm and its blacklisting.
He proposed involving a team of experts from IIT, Roorkee, to conduct a quality assessment of the entire civil structure at the Park.
