Books like the biography of RSS founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, 'Hinduvta' and 'Godhra-The Missing Rage' were bought for middle level government schools, Kushwaha said in a press conference.

"It stunned me that self-proclaimed secular Nitish Kumar...is helping the RSS to reach out to students," said Kushwaha, whom the JD-U suspended from the Rajya Sabha.

"We demand that the state government immediately withdraw these books," he said.

Nitish was bowing down to the RSS for running his government with support of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Kushwaha said.

RSS is a cultural organisation true, but definitely not a secular one. Government schools cannot teach any communal lesson to the young minds. It is against the spirits of the Constitution of India.

The rebel MP has raised a pertinent point. At least, he is concerned and has got the courage to raise voice against the wrongdoings , when others in the Party have become mere spectators.

Nobody, in the State Government, seems to be worried about the status of education in SARKARI schools which has reached its nadir after the Regime took over six years ago.

If you raise any voice against this you are labelled as a Lalu loyalist. This is one of the innumerable drawbacks of massive mandate. Some people, with all the means, will come and loot the State in the name of development and an ordinary Bihari will be a witness to this with his mouth open.

Have we improved from the so called Jungle Raj ? Certainly not, only one thing has changed,

Last time i checked RSS was a legal cultural organization just like any organization they have right to do their work. Why does it irk psuedo secularists party-hopper pests is beyond me.
