Patna,(BiharTimes): Pointing out accusing finger towards deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi the RJD and LJP on Wednesday questioned the role played by him in the incident involving the Forbesganj police firing.
A joint delegation of the two party met the Governor, Devanand Konwar, and urged him to get the matter inquired by a sitting high court judge within a set time frame and bring Sushil Modi, BJP MLC Ashok Agrawal and Forbesganj SDO Girwar Dayal Singh within the ambit of the investigation. |
It comprised leader of opposition in Bihar Legislative Assembly Abdul Bari Siddiqui, RJD MP Ram Kripal Yadav, former RJD MP Alok Kumar Mehta, former LJP MP Ramchandra Paswan, general secretaries of LJP Raghvendra Singh Kushwaha, Mehtab Alam and Lallan Prasad Singh.
The delegation demanded an ex gratia payment of Rs 10 lakh each be made to the relative of deceased persons at the earliest. They also said that those found prima facie guilty in the killing be booked under Section 302 or 304 of the IPC.They also sought security for villagers who are living under constant threat from various quarters.
