Mamata rules out any seat adjustment with Janata Dal (United)

Patna,(BiharTimes): Railway minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday rejected the demand of Janata Dal (United) president, Sharad Yadav for seat sharing adjustment with his party.
She said that since she had not demanded any seat from Janata Dal (United) in the Bihar Assembly election held last year there is no question of giving any seat to the Janata Dal (United), which has hardly any presence in West Bengal.

In a way Mamata scoffed media speculations that Janata Dal (United) has demanded 10 seats from the Trinamool leader. Sharad was in West Bengal last month and sought seat adjustment while addressing a meeting of his party.

BiharTimes was the first to report that the Trinamool Congress is not going to give any seat to Janata Dal (United), obviously because it is a major partner of the NDA.

However, Mamata added that anyone who wants to campaign for the ouster of the Left from West Bengal is welcomed.
