.Patna,(BiharTimes): The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday conducted raids at the New Delhi residence of Amlendu Pandey, an AICC member and the Bihar Congress spokesman, as he is suspected of having helped Hasan Ali get a fake passport from Patna.
The ED raided his residence at Gautam Nagar near AIIMS in New Delhi and seized several documents from there.

Hasan Ali is alleged to have eight billion dollars in black money in foreign bank accounts. He was arrested earlier this month and moved to Mumbai from Pune, where he is reportedly known for his lavish life-style. The Supreme Court had last week cancelled his bail. He has been asked to pay Rs 70,000 crore as a penalty for tax evasion.
Hasan Ali is currently in ED’s custody. The court had earlier suggested that he be tried on terror charges because his activities seemed to involve a threat to national security.
However, his lawyer claims that Ali is innocent of all the charges against him.
