.Patna,(BiharTimes): A days after getting bail from the Patna High Court on Thursday the Lady Principal of the Mahendra Mahila College, Gopalganj, Madhu Prabha Singh, filed a complaint petition in the court of the chief judicial magis-trate (CJM) against the district magistrate, Pankaj Kumar Pal, SP K S Anupam, Sadar SDO Rajiv Ranjan Singh, a constable and some other officials, seeking institution of an FIR against them.

She charged these officials with creating obstruction in performance of her duty during the intermediate examination, abusing and assaulting her besides snatching her bag containing Rs 15,000 in cash on March 10.
It needs to be recalled that Singh allegedly slapped the district magistrate during the latter’s visit to the college on March 10 for inspection. Pal reportedly found the Class-XII examinees adopting unfair means and called for the college Lady Principal. A heated argument took place between them and the Principal allegedly slapped the DM. She was arrested and sent to jail.
However, the Lady Principal had then alleged that it was she who was actually slapped.
The Lady Principal, in her petition, alleged that, the DM, accompanied by the Sadar SDO and other officials, arrived at the College to make an on the spot inspection of the girl examinees. She further alleged that male constables were ordered to search the girl examinees. This was strongly opposed by her. Upon this, according to the petition, the DM lost his cool and misbehaved with her.
Reports say that after Lady Principal’s protest, on Pal’s directive, the Gopalganj SP reached the college
along with some woman constables. The petitioner alleged that one of the woman constables snatched her cellphone.
Singh said though the petitioner tried to lodge a complaint against the DM, the SP and other police officers, it was torn by the DM himself. She had produced some torn pieces of the written complaint in the CJM court.
It needs to be reminded here that the husband of Lady Principal, Prabhakar Singh, is a lawyer in the
Patna high court.
