.Patna,(BiharTimes): Designated vigilance judge Ajit Kumar Sinha on Tuesday framed charges against former RJD MP and now senior Congress leader Anirudh Prasad alias Sadhu Yadav and 21 others in connection with the flood-relief scam of 2004.

The court framed the charges against Sadhu and others after hearing their counsels and the prosecution on the scam relating to irregularities in distribution of relief worth Rs 10.69 crore among the victims during floods in Bihar in 2004.
It needs to be recalled that the then Patna district magistrate Gautam Goswami was also one of the accused in the case. What is strange is that Goswami got an award from Time magazine for very good work in this flood relief works. He died a couple of years back.
