Patna,(BiharTimes): Seven year old Suryakant of Aurangabad district is not the unique case of callous attitude of the Bihar Police. The police of Rohtas district have also charge a physically handicapped person under Section 107. Reports say that over 3,00,000 people have been booked under Section 107 because of the Panchayat election.

The son of this elderly handicapped gentleman first rang BiharTimes from Jaipur and than wrote to the newsportal.
Following is the content of the letter:
Dear Readers,
I want to inform something on behalf of my father Shri Mthilesh Kumar Singh. First I want to introduce my father. He is a 58 years old man with 30% handicap. He is a shopkeeper in front of Jaihind Cinema in Dehri on Sone in Rohtas district for last 30 years. But he was surprised when he got a notice from Inderpuri Police Station.
He was asked to be present before SDM Dehri on Sone so that he can not indulge in any criminal activity at the time of GRAM PANCHYAT ELECTION.
But he want to know how can the police include his name in those suspected of indulging in criminal activiites in GRAM PANCHYAT ELECTION. No one has criminal background in my famly including my father. We are from
reputed family and I want to say that my grand father was a freedom-fighter. And my father is a social worker and you will get this information from my villagers.
After all I want to know what is the main reason to send this type of notice to my father.
When I tried to contact the local police station incharge on his mobile no 09431095807 he refused to pick the phone. Than I called Rohtas SP on his mobile number 09431822978. The SP told me dont call me again on this number for this type of query but go through legal books.
I want to request you to ask authorized persons how police can sent this type of notice to a good Character person.
So I am requesting you to please help me through your news-portal because no one is suppose to help my father and my family.
Regards,
MULK RAJ ANAND
