Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Friday got support from an unexpected quarter after he criticized Team Anna on Thursday.
The Congress party on Friday backed his stand on the issue of The Bihar Lokayukta Bill 2011 and said that elected representatives are answerable only to the people.

Congress spokesman Manish Tewari said that in Parliament and in state Assemblies, elected representatives owe their answer to the people.
Talking to newsmen in Delhi he said Nitish’s statement is self-speaking. At the root of the chief minister’s entire assertion is the fact that elected representatives owe their answers to the people. He said the essence of Nitish’s statement is correct.
