Though he has spoken on the issue for third time in three days and that too in different tones yet he said that it is not his habit to indulge in unnecessary debate or ponder over criticism. He said that the state government would discuss the Bill with the leaders of all political parties and if others want to send their views, they are welcome.
Nitish said the Sewa Yatra proved beneficial as he got the opportunity to closely observe the problems of the people and got feedback from them.
The chief minister said he reached some places without notice and some places after due intimation. He inspected the areas affected by erosion and the mega bridge construction on the Gandak river. Engineers and officials have been asked to complete construction of the bridge on time.
He reiterated that corrupt officials would not be spared as action has been taken against about a dozen of them in West Champaran district.
