Patna,(BiharTimes): More than a month after publicly molesting a college girl and assaulting her father near Income Tax Roundabout Ravi Ranjan, the son of a police official and main accused, surrendered quietly in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna on Monday.

The other accused, Pintu Singh, was arrested about a week after the incident.
Though there was widespread outcry over the incident yet the police’s failed to nab the youth, son of an ASI of BMP-16 in Patna. The CJM court forwarded him to judicial custody.
It needs to be recalled that both the youths molested a student of Magadh Mahila College after taking liquor in the nearby shop. When her father protested he was thrashed. The youth managed to escape leaving behind the motorcycle.
The Patna Police later came out with the sketches of the two youths, yet the move failed to yield any worthwhile result.
