Patna,(BiharTimes): Two women belonging to the same family were badly injured when criminals barged into their house in Bochachak village under Phulwarisharif block on the outskirts of the state capital. The incident took place in the wee hours of Thursday. The village is not far away from the AIIMS.

The two women have been identified as Lalita Devi, 55, and her daughter in law Renu Devi, 35,
One of the attackers, named as Subhash Sao, was however, caught by the villagers. He was thrashed before handed over to the police who said that he was in inebriated state.
An FIR has been lodged in this case. Local residents blocked the Phulwari-Janipur road for several hours in protest against the incident.
