Patna,(BiharTimes): Exactly a week after the daylight incident of molestation of a college girl and assault on her father near the Income-Tax roundabout, the Patna Police on Thursday arrested one of the two accused, Pintu Singh.

However Ravi Ranjan, the son of a BMP ASI involved in the incident and whose bike was seized from the spot on October 13 is still at large.
Pintu Singh, it needs to be recalled, had on Tuesday reached the Patna Civil Court to surrender. But he was told in the court by some lawyers that his name did not figure in the FIR, so how can he surrender? He, however, escaped before the police reached the court premises.
